I’m a part time freelance photographer based in Shelburne, Vermont (go BTV!) and Toronto, Canada (my home town). I do everything related to photography, contact me by email or webform or IG DM with the deadline you are trying to meet.

I think of my style as observational and creative, and love shooting events. I have a knack for capturing spontaneous behind-the-scenes moments. I prefer being outdoors shooting landscapes and wildlife, and also love the buzz of city streets. When I’m not shooting reportage, I like to make art. My artistic influences lean toward pictorialism and impressionism using intentional camera movement, infrared, and alternative printing methods like cyanotype. As a musician, compositionally I aim to make images that suggest musicality in two dimensions, such as visualization of sound through line, texture, and patterns. My work has been described as “haunting” and beautiful.

I typically work with a digital camera in natural light, and also shoot film (35mm and 120mm) and off-camera flash (profoto B10).

In my work as an engineer I help electric utilities move toward an energy portfolio more invested in clean and renewable energy. As such, I aim to ensure my photography business practices are energy efficient and sustainable such as by using AI on an opt-in basis, minimizing my cloud storage footprint by using solid state backup devices, and charging my devices using solar power.
